The Peace of Art: Design for Change exhibit traveled to Oberlin Ohio. The art was up from Sept. 17-24 and part of a 2-day event where the situation of violence in Cd. Juarez was discussed. Mayor Jose Reyes Ferriz gave an interesting lecture and Peace of Art was right there.
It was a great experience. I hope this event indeed brought some attention to our situation and created awareness. Slowly but surely, people need to learn about it.
It is a beautiful town with gorgeous architecture, great people, active students and faculty. Below are some pics of the wonderful town of Oberlin.
